Palm Sunday is celebrated the Sunday before Easter. We call it Palm Sunday because the crowds lined the road with palm branches and cries of Hosanna, believing Jesus was the promised Messiah. Palm Sunday serves as a day of reflection on Jesus' entry into Jerusalem.
